Young Writer's Conference Coming Soon

The Young Writer's Conference is fast approaching on Wednesday, March 28. The final roster will be determined and permission slips will be distributed on Thursday, March 15. You will need to have the permission slip signed by your parents and all of your teachers to attend the conference since you will be missing the entire day. I will have more information at our meeting tomorrow. Have a great day!

Introduction Prompt

Introduce yourself through poetry, fiction, or nonfiction. In your introduction, please relate your personality to a specific season, number, animal and/or object.

How Do I Begin?

Step 1: Make sure you have an e-mail address. If you don't, you can set this up easily by going to www.gmail.com and following the steps to set up a new account. WRITE DOWN your e-mail address.

Step 2: Go to the following website: https://www.blogger.com/start and click on the orange "Create Your Blog Now" link

Step 3: Follow instructions on the creating a blog page. (You do not need to create your own blog, but you need to fill out the page to get your username and password, which will allow you to post on our group blog).

Step 4: Create a blog page with an address and title, but you don't need to post on that blog.

Step 5: THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO IS WRITE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSSWORD!
